Health Guarantee & Contract

1. Cottondollz Cattery agrees to provide you with a healthy kitten. At the time of delivery, seller will provide buyer a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection to include proof of current vaccinations and worming by a licensed veterinarian. 

2. At time of delivery,kittens will have had all age appropriate vaccinations and worming. Vaccinations do not include the rabies vaccination as kittens will be too young to receive at time of last vet visit. Cottondollz keeps a closed Cattery and all kittens and cats are FeLV & FIV negative. Cottondollz kittens are not vaccinated for FIP as it is not considered totally safe or reliable . Cottondollz Cattery does not guarantee the health of a kitten that is vaccinated for FIP after going to it's new home. Buyer is advised to speak with their veterinarian regarding all vaccinations. Buyer agrees that all health guarantees are null and void if this kitten is given an FIP vaccine.

3. Kittens will be free of earmites, ringworm and parasites at time of delivery. Seller does not guarantee against these conditions within three (3) days from date of delivery as they can easily be aquired after arriving in a new environment.

4. Limited Twelve Month Warranty against death from congenital or hereditary defects: If within twelve months from the date of delivery, the above kitten dies from a debilitating hereditary or congenital defect, seller will replace with another kitten of the same cost when proof of the defect in the form of a complete necropsy report from a licensed veterinarian is received from the buyer.There are no refunds, only replacement kittens. Although seller will give best effort to replace the exact color of the kitten, seller is not obligated to do so. Seller is not responsible for any vet expenses related to the above kitten or defect. Seller has the right to contest vet's findings. If shipping is required for a replacement kitten, buyer must pay for the shipping fees.

5. Shipping money is non-refundable.

6. All deposits are non-refundable.

7. Boarding fees that result from airline delays due to weather, runway delays, etc. will be paid by buyer. If kitten is medically treated during flight due to illness or stress, buyer is responsible for fees.

8. Seller provides a kitten as a companion pet. Buyer agrees to spay/neuter this kitten within 6 months from date of delivery. Buyer understands he/she WILL NOT receive registration papers until proof of spay/neuter is received.

9. Buyer agrees that the kitten will live indoors and never be able to roam FREELY outdoors.

10. Buyer agrees that if he/she can no longer care for above kitten, the buyer will contact seller in an effort to help find a suitable home for kitten. If kitten will be returned to the seller for seller to re-home, all airline fees will be paid by the buyer.

11. Buyer accepts the responsibility of caring for their new kitten and agrees to proper housing, diet and healthcare to include up to date vaccinations. Cottondollz does not guarantee or replace a kitten that is not up to date on his/her vaccinations. Kittens leave our home fully potty trained. Seller is not responsible for litter box habits or damage to personal items from above kitten after delivery. Buyer will educate themselves on the proper care and habits of kittens/cats. Seller is not responsible for the owner's medical, marital or landlord status/disagreements.

12. Waiver: Seller gives the buyer three (3) business days from the date of delivery in which to have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian of buyer's choosing. If it is determined by the veterinarian, that at the time of sale, the kitten is unfit for purchase due to a congenital or hereditary defect that affects the health of the kitten, seller shall give buyer the right to return kitten and receive an exchange kitten but not a refund. The buyer must present a certificate of unfitness by a licensed veterinarian to seller within 3 business days after vet's findings or this health waiver is null and void. If there is any evidence of abuse or neglect, the seller is released from any responsibility regarding the kitten and all health guarantees are void. Buyer is responsible for all veterinary costs and seller has the right to contest vet's findings. Failure to have kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within three (3) business days will void all health guarantees.

13. Seller does not guarantee eye color, coat color, length or pattern. Nor does seller guarantee size, weight or personality of kitten.

14. Seller reserves the right to use photos already in possession of any kitten(s) that are sold to buyer in promotional advertising of the seller's cattery including; internet web-site and future or existing advertising.

15. Buyer will NOT declaw above kitten as this is considered inhumane and is the surgical removal of the tips of the fingers!

16. On the rare occasion the above kitten is sold for breeding rights, seller cannot guarantee kitten to be a proven breeder.

17. Seller guarantees the overall general health of this cat/kitten for a period of three (3) days after delivery on the condition it is properly cared for and quarantined. After this period, all sales are final.

  By signing below, both buyer and seller agree to all the terms and conditions of this contract.
